The name Railflower reflects something I have always believed: beauty can thrive in unexpected places. Like a wildflower growing along the tracks, sometimes you come across something remarkable when you weren't looking for it at all.
That same sense of discovery is at the heart of Railflower. I’m drawn to ingredients with traditions and histories of their own, ingredients like batana, ambunu, ziziphus and tepezcohuite. I love learning where they come from, how they’ve been used and what they have to offer.
At Railflower, many of those discoveries eventually find their way into products for hair, skin and body. I enjoy formulating with them, getting to know their textures and consistencies and figuring out what I can make with them. And I love that something I discovered along the way might become something you enjoy too.
